When you upload an image to your blog post, WordPress gives you the option of resizing the image into 3 different sizes: a thumbnail size, a medium size and a large size.  And of course you have the fourth option which is the full size.  If you choose the thumbnail size, WordPress will automatically resize the image to the default thumbnail size.   But what if the default thumbnail size doesn’t suit your blog?  What if you have a special blog design and the default size of the thumbnail makes the image look larger or smaller than it should be?

You have two choices in this case.  The first one is to resize the image manually using the default image editor you find on WordPress. The problem with this solution is that you have to resize every time you upload an image.  That will surely waste your time and energy.  The second solution is the one I am going to show you today.  It is to change the default image sizes to suit your blog structure.
