I won’t tell you much about myself in this post. I just want to inform you about something. I do have a plan for my life. I know how I want to live it. Today I want to tell you that I am moving to a new country. That’s the first step of my plan.
You know how difficult it is when you move to a new country. It is going to be a real culture shock… New traditions, new weather and new challenges. I don’t know what’s waiting for me there (everything good..
Did you wish me that?)
I am sure you do know how difficult moving to a new place is. So you’re going to make this easier for me. I may be away from my blog for a while. This is bad and it hurts. I feel really good when I set in front of my computer to write posts or create tutorials. I really love that and I feel I belong here. But I don’t have a myriad of choices. I’ll surely need time to settle down and get everything going. I don’t know how long it’ll take. I hope not too long.
I didn’t manage to write some posts to publish them while I am away. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to do that. My rankings will drop and my traffic will decrease in the process. I know that. I just hope everything will go smoothly in order to get back to my blog. I really wish that.
So that’s really it. I’ll RELLY miss you guys. I seriously mean that. Please forgive me if I don’t read your posts and comment. I’ll miss that as well. Please don’t stop using my blog. Come and visit me every now and then even if I am not here.
Thanks a lot for your time.
Keep me in your prayers.

Comment spam is something all bloggers suffer from. I have been struggling with that for a long time. That’s because my blog is a DoFollow blog and because I use CommentLuv. These two reasons make my blog tempting for spammers.
I first discovered that spammers use trackbacks to post their links. I once followed a trackback and my antivirus made a loud noise warning me about the site. I stopped allowing trackbacks since then and I suggest that you do the same. Spammers use trackbacks to lure your readers to harmful and malicious websites. I don’t want to help them do that for sure. I was shocked when I read some statistics about trackbacks online. Akismet reported blocking about 15 million trackbacks spam a day in April 2009 and 1.8 million legitimate trackbacks only! That’s enough for us to stop allowing trackbacks. 1.8 million legitimate trackbacks is a lot but it pales in comparison with 15 million trackbacks! That’s a lot!
If you have some time, I urge you to check this study from Stanford University about TrackBack Spam:

Today I want to share with you a list of posts I am most proud of. I’ve decided to do that for 2 reasons. First, I want to encourage myself. Second, I want to make sure you didn’t miss these posts because they’re important. I am sure you’ll learn a lot from them. You’ll learn about some important things like securing your WordPress blog and you’ll know some plugins I use on my blog that I get many questions about.
So let’s get started with the first post!

When I wrote my first eBook, I included a section about myself and my experience in the niche discussed. I used many images to make readers feel what I was saying. For example, if I discuss winning an award, I show them the award and how I got it… I believe this is very helpful to readers. They’ll feel you more this way.
Now, suppose you’re an Internet marketer who struggled a lot to succeed in the past. You have achieved your dreams and you now want to share your experience and knowledge with your readers. Wouldn’t it be nice to actually show them everything as it is and not just tell them about it? For example, show them how you started your first site and how it looked like. Show them how your posts looked like before and what mistakes you made and what you did to correct them. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Reducing PDF file size is something I struggled with a lot in the past. The size of my first PDF eBook was about 90MB! Yes, that’s big but true. I didn’t know what to do back then. 90MB is so big and no one will want to download it. I thought the images and screenshots I used were the culprits. So I had to resize all images and I used quite many of them. I had to start all over again. When I finished, I converted the document to PDF and to my surprise, the size was the slightly the SAME if my memory serves me right. I was frustrated…
I knew then that the size of images wasn’t the only culprit. I read online that fonts can also increase the size of your PDF file. So I tried changing them. I used many handwritten fonts in my first eBook. I tried to stick to two or three but in vain. The size didn’t change. I was frustrated…
I tried to look for solutions. I looked online and learned that there are software that can help me reduce PDF file size. I downloaded one of them. It is called PDf Compressor. It did reduce the size but not as I expected. The size was 90MB! I wanted to reduce it to 3MB or something like that. Impossible, right?

Today I am going to show you how to use some of the graphics I gave you before. There isn’t a correct and wrong way to use the graphics. It is really up to you to do whatever you want with them. But I’ll let you know how I personally use them in my posts and eBooks just to let you know how. After that, you can unleash our creativity and start creating your own things.
My friend Carolyn wrote a great post about protecting your tech. She discussed why you have to buy cell phone warranty and where to buy those warranties. I am going to use this post as an example. I am going to see how I can use some graphics there.

The Comment Juice Plugin…
My friend Ashivini created a cool plugin called Comment Juice. It is similar to CommentLuv because it does the same job but differently. In today’s post, I am going to tell you about Comment Juice, what it does and some of its shortcomings. This is just to help Ashvini improve his new plugin so that it can compete with CommentLuv and other plugins.
I’ll first tell you how to install the plugin and then show you how it works. You don’t have to install it now, but I have to start from installation for the sake of this tutorial. Here is how you install Comment Juice plugin:
